What is Impact Investing?
Impact investments are “made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact, alongside a financial return.” The intentions of impact investing are explicit and target outcomes in “underserved”
areas.1 – Mercer, “Raising Your Impact Ambition” 2022
RevFund invests in ventures that seek to solve some of the world's greatest social challenges. Impact investing supports companies with a social impact mission and a sustainable financial model, otherwise known as a “double bottom line”. In particular, our investment thesis targets companies whose mission addresses social impact among marginalized populations or resource efficiency. RevFund portfolio and diligence companies like Aleria, Shoonya, FlickPower, and Parenting Autism reflect these criteria.
